Powers: Hailey is a form of technopath. She has the ability to convert her molecules into either electricity or binary-data thanks to techno-organic nanobots fused into her system. This allows her to possess electrical devices.
Once possessing an appliance, Hailey is granted full control and has even been known to upgrade smaller appliances like mobile phones and microwaves into small, walking robots for short periods. She can also plant computer viruses by memorising input codes before entering an electronic system. She can also travel along/through mains circuits and the like.

Because her powers are not genetic, but robotic, Metas that negate/reverse/steal powers do not effect her.

Weaknesses:
While the nanobots are a non-magnetic alloy, strong magnets in close proximity can cause them to malfunction temporarily.
Rubber dampens and/or robs her of her abilities. Coating a device she's possessing in thick rubber (like a tire) could easily trap her.
Possessing too big an object, or an object for too long, can severely drain her, making her weak, dizzy or even pass out.
She must carry mostly electrical equipment with her. Too much non-electrical and she might struggle to convert her entire form.
Her powers only effect objects that are electricity-powered. Engines and manual-mechanical devices are a no-go.
Can be lead by her emotions quite easily.

Personality:
Hailey is fun, out-going, and incredibly enthusiastic. She has a tendency to automatically act very familiar and chummy with people without thinking, which has been known to make people feel insulted or uncomfortable on occasion. She is an optimist at heart, and will usually try and point out the positives to any situation to boost moral.
Being very empathic, Hailey will often feel down if she fails to make someone feel better - she often masks any of her own fears or upsets by trying to cheer up others (something her mother has insisted is not healthy). However, her effervescent personality has proven to often be rather volatile on occasion; she will attempt to maintain a good demeanour until the last, meaning her transition from happy to angry or upset usually appears sudden and dramatic.

Short History:
<sub>Hailey was an energetic and friendly child, something that occasionally worried her parents when their middle-child struck up conversation with anyone who would lend an ear, including much older people and even hobos. However, her family is loving and muddle along well together, despite their quirks. The only distressing event in her life was playing at the beach on a family vacation when she pushed her luck a little too far when playing up on the dunes and rocks and slipped of the edge of the cliffside and onto a ledge a third of the way down. Hailey was rescued cold and shivery but unharmed, bar a few unsightly scratches and bruises - however, since then she has found looking down from heights to make her feel sick and nauseous and avoids it if she can.

Her father runs a branch of experimental science, investigating the combination of nano-technology and organic organisms, in the hope of creating more comfortable and effective bionic limbs and other organs. While Hailey's younger sister was always girly, more concerned with pink and dolls, both Hailey and her brother Aaron were fascinated by their father's work and often got to hang around his lab to watch experiments and try out their latest gadgets. Disaster struck when Hailey (age 11) was playing in her father's lab and her brother left for the toilet. During that time, a high pressure container in the next room over, filled with experimental nano-bots, broke due to a faulty lock component. The objects swarmed out and, built for electrical repair and upgrade, swarmed to the nearest electrical object. Unluckily for the both Hailey and the nanobots, this object was a highly-concentrated power core.
Upon unlatching the container in an attempt to "fix" it, the energy within the container lost stability and exploded outwards. In the resulting heat and energy of the explosion, the nanobots were sent sailing through the broken safety screens into the office Hailey was playing in, fusing the nanobots with her own bodily systems. Soon after recovering from her burns and injuries from the explosion, Hailey began to feel an odd compulsion, like her body was drawn towards electrical appliances. Her father thought nothing of it, ridden with guilt as he was, until Hailey became over-excited about her sister's birthday and interrupted the proceedings by transferring herself into her mother's mobile phone. Overjoyed at the breakthrough in his research, Hailey's father put in many hours of research into his daughter's newfound abilities - however, the few attempts that have been made to replicate the accident have resulted in some rather upsetting casualties.

Hailey, being a girl who is constantly trying to improve the emotional and physical well-being of others, found a new boost of confidence, as well as a new-found passion to help others in a way she hadn't been able to before. Her father, both eager to support her (perhaps partly out of guilt) and see the extent of his nanobots' ability, supplied her with both the suit, and many of her gadgets. It seems hero-work has become a family project.</sub>
